Be aware of the law on pet burial. Don't anyhow bury your fur kid in their favorite park.
The burial of pets and other animals in public places is illegal however burial on private property is legal. There are some exceptions: if your furkid had rabies or other communicable disease, you may have to have it quarantined and cremated. Ask your vet.
There are many private animal crematoria in Singapore. You can Google that.
If you have a large pet, it must be cremated. Prices and types of cremation services vary. Petstation does a good review of these services.
To our knowledge, the most sustainable, low-waste way to dispose of your pet in a respectful way is aqua cremation.
Aqua-cremation has only been available in Singapore since 2022. There are no carbon emissions from this form of cremation. See The Green Mortician for more info.
Small Pets Only! The idea of throwing your pet in the trash is painful for animal lovers. However, if you have a small pet, it is legal.
Owners of smaller pets like ornamental fish, birds, hamsters, etc. may carefully wrap the carcasses and dispose of them together with their properly bagged general waste.
