In Singapore, general waste, ie trash or rubbish, is symbolized by the “Green Bins” which are not always green! They can come in any colour but are usually green or black.
If it can't be recycled, upcycled, repurposed or reused… then the last resort is to put it in the trash.
Depending on where you live and work, general waste is collected by public or private waste collectors and is sent to a waste-to-energy plant for incineration.
