Specialised Recycling
These blister packs are made of polypropylene (plastic resin #5) which has excellent recycling properties. Unfortunately, if you put them in the blue bin, their small size means they will get filtered out of the recycling sorting facility ("MRF").
Fortunately, there are some organisations that will take these blister packs for recycling projects.
Note: Technological challenges get in the way of recycling the foil and lens itself but the plastic part of the pack is welcome by some organisations that do special purpose plastic recycling.
