The Gratitude Shop is the thrift shop at Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery (KMSPKS). KMSPKS is a spiritual sanctuary where one can learn the Buddha's teachings of wisdom and compassion, practise mindfulness, develop gratitude, and bring happiness to all.
The shop has an assortment of clothes, accessories, & household items.
They also collect metal & paper recyclables for fundraising.

The shop is located Outside Dining Hall (South Wing)
Open Mon to Sun 10.00am – 3.00pm
You can also drop off donation items across the street at the counter at the Buddhist College of Singapore gate (9am to 4pm daily).
Accepted Items
Accepted items 收取的物品
- Paper Products (Books, newspapers, magazines & cardboard)
- Metal including Aluminium Cans
- Clothing and Bags
- We seek your understanding and cooperation that the items donated are clean and in good condition.
Items NOT accepted 不收取的物品:
- Items more than one metre in length and width eg. Golf Clubs /
- Religious statue / Furniture and other bulky, heavy items / Items with food stains, ants and other “life forms” / Clay, ceramics, porcelain and old kitchenware / Rubber, leather and styrofoam items / Diapers, undergarments, socks, pillows and other similar items / Mattress, curtain and carpet / Wooden items, mirror, glass window, fluorescent lamps and batteries / Ring file, framed religious poster, and Electronic Items
