Repurpose broken pots by placing some pieces into the bottom of a pot or planter before adding in the soil.
Doing this helps excess water drain out of the container and ensures the future health of your plants.

Ask at your local community garden if your surplus pots are useful. Even broken, they can sometimes be useful to gardeners.

If all else fails, throw it in the trash. It cannot be recycled.
But… do try to keep clay pots out of the trash. Clay pots are very hard to incinerate so when you put them in the trash, gram for gram they are contributing more to filling up Semakau landfill than most other waste materials.
