#5 plastic is recyclable though recycling rates for this are low (it is expensive to sort and recycle post-consumer polypropylene).

Unfortunately, these little bottles will introduce food contamination into the recycling system if not rinsed. If you cannot rinse it, chuck it.

Due to their small size, it is possible (likely?) that they get filtered out at the sorting plant ("MRF") no matter how clean they are.
