How much do we hate styrofoam? A lot! It's near impossible to recycle and seems to often end up as litter.
Styrofoam is a big source of coastal marine pollution. It is light so it blows away easily and gets washed into the waterways. Always take care to dispose of it properly so it does not become litter.
Although it is technically recyclable, it rare is recycled in practice. It requires specilised recycling facilities and is expensive to transport, ship and store. It is not recycled in Singapore.
